A planting plan is the final plan with all the details that are required for implementation of the design. These details include: names,numbers, and positions of plants, specifications of materials such as pavers, stones, bricks, and timbers, as well as construction details.

The planting plan includes a plant photo collage with photographs of the plants used in the design and a plant list in which the plants are specified by their botanical and common names.
